My Story
WhenI began playing guitar in 1980. I started off with a guitar I
bought from my big brother Mark. It had about six or seven coats of the paint. All of some ugly dark brown. My father gave me some paint strip-
er and I started at it. working on something I had no idea how to play. It turned out nice. I stained the the natural wood, put a very cool clear coat in it. It was a no name guitar. When I got the guitar it had to many coats of paint on it to to read what kind of guitar it was.. It was a very awesome guitar for me. It had a toggle switch and also had 3 other switches to control the tones. Mom and Dad went to Sears an got me a guitar amp
I saw in their catalog. Real basic..My brother moved out of my
parents house by this time. That wasn't any good for me, because I
wanted him to show me some guitar chords. So he opened a note
book and took out a piece of paper. Got a ball point pen and drew
4 chords on that page....31 years later.. I still have that chord chart
Mark made for me... A, C, G, D were the chords, I think!. Thanks
BRO.. If it were'nt for you. I wound'nt be playing guitar today. I
have had many guitars since then. After that I got my first real
guitar. It was a Strat copy. Antares was the name of the guitar.
Electric blue. It rocked!
